Unspecified refill casks were followed by other heavily charred casks and finally European puncheons, all for 27 years, bottled at cask strength (58%ABV) and priced at £495.00.
The triple maturation follows exactly that of the only other similar bottling released in the past by Talisker, made for the Friends of Classic Malts at the end of 2013, with the difference that in that case the age was not declared while the first maturation casks (refill ex-Bourbon) were: it is fair to imagine that this is the same distillate.
