The Midleton distillery has released the first bottling of a new series for its well-known label: The Jameson Anthology.
Drawing inspiration from Irish whiskey’s past, the series aims to pay homage to the classics by giving them a modern twist, and they begin with Remastered, the first single pot still produced for the brand.
A reinterpretation of another limited edition 15 year old made over twenty years ago, this version has been aged in ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry Oloroso casks, with a label that winks at the past.
2,200 half-litre bottles, at 56.4% proof, with a price tag of around €300.00, is available from today via an online ballot on their website.
